Our counseling services are priced on an individual basis. We charge according to a sliding scale fee schedule, which takes into account total household income and the number of residents in your household. When you are contacted to schedule your first session, your counselor will let you know what your fee will be. If for any reason your counselor fails to indicate your expected fee, please inquire to verify with them that you will be able to afford the cost of your counseling services before your first session. 

No client will be denied counseling services due to inability to pay the expected session fee. Instead, we will work with you to adjust the fee to an affordable amount if necessary. 

Fees may be paid at the time of the session by cash or check.

Both you and your counselor are expected to be present and on time for any and all scheduled counseling sessions. We acknowledge that unforeseeable emergencies do occur. However, if you are aware that you will be late to a session or will be unable to attend, prior notification is expected from both you and your counselor. Failure on your part to notify your counselor or The Center for Family Counseling and Education at least 24 hours in advance of a session you know you will be unable to attend will result in a minimum fee charge of $20.00 for that session.
